All my "New Year resolutions" have been checked off. This weekend I hike Mount Olympus with Genae . Being down in Boise for the past 3 weeks hasn't been the best to train because of the altitude. Boise altitude is basically half of Salt Lake and I felt it as we were hiking up. The trail was steep pretty much the whole way. As we were heading up the mountain we chatted about what was going on in our lives and asked how work was going. We also talked about how our minds are so much stronger than our bodies. If we have a determination to finish something we have started, no matter how long it will take us. We will get it done, only if our minds have decided. My body was tired, but my mind pushed me through. We climb 4,000 ft to get to the top and the views were amazing, the surroundings mountain tops were covered in snow. It was a great time and the weather couldn't have been any better. The fall colors on the trees were very pretty as we keep on climbing out of the bustling city into nature and the sound of peace.

Going back to Salt Lake felt sort of weird because we couldn't go to our house in Sugarhouse because we are renting it out. We had to stay with my parents, which is always a good time. It was great seeing them and visiting with them.
Today it was fun going to church with my parents and seeing everyone in the ward family that had help me get through all my craziness. So very blessed for each in everyone of them for there prayer, fasting and love. I feel so grateful that they did what they did for me. It is amazing what a ward family can do for each other with God's power.
