2 weeks late...

We have embryos!!! It is so surreal to say that, but it is done. For that past 2 weeks I have been taking injections to increase my hormones and get ready for my retrieval. This past week we headed up to Salt Lake. I had my first appointment last Saturday and my retrieval happened on Wednesday morning this past week. I blinked and now we have embryos. So very blessed that everything went so smoothly without any complications. On Tuesday I wanted to go to the temple so I packed everything up and headed to the Salt Lake temple as I arrived I noticed a sign saying temple closed. I decided to double check, I asked someone and it was closed. Off to Jordan River temple ... got there and closed for constructions. Second strike. Draper or Oquirrah temple? Oquirrah it is. It was my first time and what a beautiful temple. I love to see the different and unique architecture each temple has. happy holidays

What a holiday season it was for me. We made it to Salt Lake on our second attempt on Christmas Eve because of the weather. Before heading down to Salt Lake we went on a walk, Steve helped someone get unstuck and went sledding with all the snow we got. On our way down the weather never let up which made me extremely nervous, I almost wanted to turn around again. Christmas morning was so beautiful waking up to so much snow. At first when I found out that Christmas was on Sunday I was sort of bummed, but as it got closer my thoughts changed and reminded me of what the TRUE meaning of Christmas is. I was so grateful that we made it down to spending Christmas with my crazy family. We went snowshoeing  my very first time and we had a blast. I got to see my bestest buddies and chat about our lives. On Tuesday I had an appointment for our surrogacy process that went smoothly. I have gotten all my hormones that I am going to be starting here soon and before I blink again ...
